These Terms of Service govern your use of myBusinessArchitect ("the platform"), operated by myBusinessArchitect ("we", "our", or "us"). By creating an account or using the platform, you agree to these terms.

1. Your account

You must provide accurate information when creating an account. You are responsible for maintaining the security of your account credentials and for all activity that occurs under your account. Notify us immediately at hello@mybusinessarchitect.com if you suspect unauthorised access.

You must be at least 16 years old to use the platform.

2. Free and paid access

Free tier

Creating a free account gives you access to all Core Practice courses at no cost. No credit card is required.

Paid subscription

Subscribing to Core Practice AI Coaching gives you access to unlimited AI coaching on all Core Practice courses. Subscriptions are billed monthly or annually and renew automatically until cancelled.

Cancellation

You may cancel your subscription at any time from your account settings. Access continues until the end of your current billing period. We do not offer prorated refunds for partial periods.

Refunds

If you experience a technical issue that prevents access to paid features, contact us within 7 days and we will assess your case. We have sole discretion over refund decisions.

3. Acceptable use

You may use the platform for your own professional learning and development. You agree not to:

Share your account credentials with others
Reproduce, distribute, or resell platform content without written permission
Use automated tools to scrape or extract content from the platform
Attempt to circumvent access controls or subscription requirements
Use the AI coaching feature to generate content for commercial resale
Upload or transmit harmful, unlawful, or abusive content

4. Intellectual property

All platform content — including course materials, case studies, exercises, illustrations, and written content — is owned by myBusinessArchitect or its licensors. Nothing in these terms transfers any intellectual property rights to you.

Content you create using the AI coaching feature (such as deliverables and project outputs) belongs to you. We do not claim ownership over your work product.

5. AI coaching

The AI coaching feature is powered by a third-party AI provider. AI-generated responses are provided for learning and professional development purposes only. They do not constitute professional advice — legal, financial, strategic, or otherwise.

AI outputs may contain errors or be contextually incomplete. You are responsible for evaluating and applying any outputs to your own organisation.

6. Availability and changes

We aim to keep the platform available at all times, but we do not guarantee uninterrupted access. We may perform maintenance, update content, or modify features at any time.

We reserve the right to discontinue features or the platform itself with reasonable notice where possible.

7. Limitation of liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, myBusinessArchitect is not liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from your use of the platform, including loss of data, revenue, or business opportunity. Our total liability for any claim arising from your use of the platform is limited to the amount you paid us in the 12 months prior to the claim.

8. Termination

We may suspend or terminate your account if you breach these terms. You may delete your account at any time. Upon termination, your access to paid content ends immediately. Free account data is retained for 30 days before deletion.

9. Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of the jurisdiction in which myBusinessArchitect is registered. Any disputes will be resolved in the courts of that jurisdiction.

10. Changes to these terms

We may update these terms from time to time. We will notify you of material changes by email or via a notice on the platform. Continued use after changes take effect constitutes acceptance.
